Welcome in my website! My name is Sahara, I was born and raised in Rome, but I'm currently living in Berlin. After graduating in Languages and Modern Literatures at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, I continued my studies in Journalism and Communication, completing my Master's degree with top marks. I studied at Karls Ruprecht Universität in Heidelberg, Germany. I am a native Italian speaker but I also speak English, Spanish and German. I was a finalist in the Premio Campiello young section in 2017 and 2020, respectively with the stories "Cuore di Terra" and "Yolanda". I received first prize in the "Racconti affAMATI" competition organized by the non-profit association "Mi nutro di vita". I received a special mention in November 2021 at the 13th National Poetry Competition "Bacchereto 2021" with the composition "...Dove un giorno potrò ritrovarti". I published in the anthology "Decameroom - Storie dal lockdown" edited by the publishing house Undici Edizioni in July 2020, and in 2022 my first collection of stories "Passi di polvere" was released, for the publishing house Augh. I write scripts for video games for the development studio Idra Interactive Studios, and I received the chair to teach Narrative Design at the Vigamus Academy in Rome. I am passionate about art, literature, painting and poetry.
